mail art kit, is a text-based artwork consisting of A6 two postcards, each with a slightly mysterious (and wry) statement. The work has collaborative and performative aspects.
Writing a message on each card; sending and receiving them; the conversations that may take place because of these gestures and the objects themselves, are all part of the artwork. When sent, the set of postcards will become unique, each with its own story and trajectory. Ultimately, the mail art kit is about embedding art in people’s lives in subtle ways.
